Death Certificate indicates he lived 15 years in NSW and 17 years in WA.
The notes on Edwin's Death Certificate suggest the following timeline:
1855 - Born in Calstock, Cornwall
~1882 - Moved to New South Wales (age 27)
1886 - married Bessie Collins (age 31) at Elsmore, NSW
1888 - Elsie Maud born at Brodies Plains, NSW
1890 - Valetta born
1892 - Vernon born
~1897 - Edwin J born
~1897 - Moved to Western Australia (age 42)
1914 - died in Perth (age 59)
Note that Elsie Maud moved to Western Australia about 1911 (age 23). She was married a year later in 1912 and Vincent Baker had been based at Kalgoorlie, WA, so that makes sense. One wonders what happened during her childhood, between 1897 when Edwin moved to WA (she was then aged 9), and when she moved to WA in 1911 (aged 23). Did Bessie stay in NSW? Was the arrival of Edwin J in 1897 linked to Edwin's move to WA, noting the family story about a son James being adopted out?
